Property
Salicylic acid is a substance exploited for its great keratolytic properties (dissolves keratin that constitutes calli/duroni thickenings and the excrescences of warts), levigating, bacteriostatic and soothing. Used pure and high percentages (40%) is extremely effective against calluses, dulls and warts.
Urea is a substance used with profit in the care of skin and nail. It is particularly effective in nail mycosis where used at high percentages (40%), modifying the skin's pH, selectively softens the parts contaminated by the fungus, facilitating cutting and removal.
