HYLO NIGHT protects the eye surface and stabilizes the tear film. HYLO NIGHT is an ophthalmic ointment that thanks to its particular composition easily applies to the eye surface. The vitamin A contained in it is a natural constituent of the lacrimal film which promotes a good tolerance of ophthalmic pomata and ensures complete mixing with tears. It relieves the feeling of burning, dryness or eye fatigue. Finally, it facilitates the flow of the eyelids on the corneal and conjunctive surface.

Components
1 g HYLO NIGHT contains 250 U.I. palmitato retinol (vitamin A), paraffin, light liquid paraffin, wool and white vaseline.

Mode of use
Use in air-conditioned environments, such as by car or airplane, in the presence of wind, cold, intense sunlight; even the spoiled air or cigarette smoke often cause dryness or eye itching with its sensation of dryness or extraneous body. These symptoms can also be caused by excessive visual stress, such as when working for too many hours on the computer, when you watch television or when you drive at night. The risk of these eye disorders is even higher if contact lenses are worn. HYLO NIGHT relieves these symptoms by creating an adequate and lasting eye protection film. The oleous consistency of the ointment determines a slight and transitory alteration of the vision therefore it is preferable to apply HYLO NIGHT in the evening before going to sleep. HYLO NIGHT can also prevent any discomfort due to the first opening of the eyes when awakening.
Ophthalmic pomates should be used by avoiding the contact of the erogator spout with the eye or skin.
Use HYLO NIGHT only if the lock seal was intact before first use.
Unscrew the cap that covers the repeal spout.
(1) Tilt the head backwards and gently lower the lower eyelid with the finger of a hand.
(2) With the other hand hold the tube in vertical position above the eye. Spread a strip of pomata into the joint sack by exerting a slight pressure on the tube.
(3) Close the eyelids gently then look normal.
Put the cap back on the pipe.
To avoid contamination, avoid the contact of the sprayer with the eye or any other surface.
The frequency of use depends on your personal habits and needs. HYLO NIGHT can be used in addition to eye drops lubricants and applies once a day to night before going to sleep. In case of a more severe eye dryness HYLO NIGHT generally applies three times a day in each eye. To use HYLO NIGHT more frequently, contact your ophthalmologist. There are no limits of duration of treatment.

Warnings
The use of HYLO NIGHT during the day causes a slight alteration of the view due to the unique texture of the ointment. In this case, you should therefore avoid driving the car, using machinery or working without a stable base. HYLO NIGHT should not be used simultaneously with other ophthalmic pharmaceutical products. In these cases HYLO NIGHT must be used at least 30 minutes after the application of other medicinal products in the eye. To provide the ointment exert a slight pressure on the tube without bending it and neither to roll it. Based on the latest data, HYLO NIGHT can also be used in children, pregnant women or nursing. Use a pack of HYLO NIGHT for each individual subject. In very rare cases hypersensitivity reactions such as redness, burning, eye itching or excessive tearing were reported, improved immediately after the suspension of treatment with HYLO NIGHT.
HYLO NIGHT should not be used in case of individual hypersensitivity ascertained towards one of the components of the product. HYLO NIGHT should not be applied when using contact lenses. HYLO NIGHT should not be used immediately after ophthalmic surgery or as a result of acute eye injury since there are no clinical studies for this purpose.

Conservation
Do not store at temperature above 25°C.
If well preserved, HYLO NIGHT can be used up to 6 months after the first opening.
Do not use HYLO NIGHT after expiry date.
Keep HYLO NIGHT out of reach of children.
