Description
Gentle foam specific for the hygiene of eyelids and eyelashes that allows an effective removal of palpebral secretions, both lipid and dry, cell residues and other contaminants, which are released in course of inflammatory states such as blepharoconjunctivitis and which can cause a worsening of inflammation itself. These secretions are also associated with a bacterial growth along the pallpebral margins and the base of the eyelashes, favored by the production of an adhesive biofilm, the resulting inflammation may also affect the glands that produce the lipid component of the lacrimal film, the glands of Meibomio, resulting in ocular dryness due to the increased evaporation of tears.
It can also be useful for detersion of eyelids and eyelashes before and after eye surgery.
BlefOX is based on LipozonEye (ozonized oil liposomal), aloe vera liophilized gel, Eugenia caryophyllus essential oil that help to clean, hydrate and refresh the eyelids, and soothe irritative symptoms due to inflammation.
It is indicated:
- to prevent and improve the symptomatology of eye affections such as blepharoconjunctivitis. The ozonized oil also allows to effectively remove the bacterial biofilm that is formed on eyelids and eyelashes;
- to help reduce the risk of infections due to bacteria present on eyelids and eyelashes, before and after ophthalmic surgery, and in course of blefaritis.
BlefOX can be used both in adults and in children.
Foam does not contain fragrances and can easily be applied on eyelids and eyelashes.

Components
LipozonEye 10%; aloe vera gel liophilized 30%; Eugenia caryophyllus essential oil 0.01%; betaine cocamidopropyl 3.50%; propanediol 4%; disode cocoil 1%; hydroxyacetophenone 0.50%; sodium cocoil glutamate 0.25%; o-cimen- 5-ol 0.1%; purified water q.b. 100%.

Mode of use
Wash your hands thoroughly before using BlefOX. Press the dispenser to dose the foam on the cotton strip contained in the package, or on a clean gauze or, alternatively, on the tip of the fingers. In case of use before and after surgery, the foam should be used on a disposable gauze.
Close your eyes and massage the eyelids with foam. Do not open your eyes during the application. Allow the foam to act for about 1 minute and repeat the application for 2-3 times a day, for a period of at least 7 days. After each application rinse the eyelids and eyelashes with warm water. Repeat the same steps for the other eye.

Warnings
Wash your hands thoroughly before using the product.
Remove contact lenses before use. Keep your eyes closed during the application.
The product is intended for the outer periocular area (palpebras and eyelashes).
Do not apply the product directly to the eyes. If the product should come accidentally in contact with the eyes, it is recommended to wash away with plenty of water.
Do not use if you are allergic to one of the ingredients. If irritation occurs, immediately suspend the use of the product, wash the eyes and contact a doctor.
Keep out of reach of children.

Conservation
Store in a dry place, at temperature between 8°C and 25°C, away from light and heat sources.
Do not use beyond the expiry date.
Post-opening validation: 2 months.
