Description
Azulene eye drops is a colliery that lubricates and hydrates the eye surface, particularly indicated when the eye is dry and the eye surface damaged.
Hyaluronic acid promotes the re-epitelization of the damaged corneal epithelium, while the long chain prevents the formation of particles of pro inflammatory hyaluronic acid and during the admiccament strengthens the lubricating action.
Thanks to the very high ability to incorporate water molecules, hyaluronic acid helps to reintegrate and stabilize the lacrimal film.
The Edta acts as a chelante and is useful in all corneal pathologies caused by foreign bodies especially by alkaline cations. For this reason, it is particularly indicated in the pathologies of the eye surface due to air pollution and fine dust.
It also has the ability to reduce the osmolarity of the tear, which in the case of dry eye is by itself high, increasing the bioavailability of water in the tear film.
