Description
Sterile solution for ophthalmic use at physiological pH containing hyaluronic acid (such as hyaluronate sodium) of pharmaceutical grade, a polymer normally present in different human body districts. Hyaluronic acid has viscoelastic, muco-mimetic and mucoadsive properties that improve the stability of the lacrimal film and maintain the lubriated and hydrated eye surface. It does not contain preservatives and/or molecules with anti-inflammatory and vasoconstrictor action.
It hydrates and lubricates the eye and therefore gives relief to the eyes in case of irritation, dryness and sensation of foreign body caused by:
- dry eye syndrome;
- mechanical factors (use of contact lenses, after eye surgery);
- environmental factors (wind, smoke, pollen, dust, pollution);
- visual stress (excess light, prolonged use of computer, pc, tablet).
Compatible with soft and rigid contact lenses.

Mode of use
1. Wash your hands thoroughly.
2. Before administration remove the warranty seal.
3. Remove the cap.
4. Recline your head and look up.
5. Gently lower the lower eyelid so as to form a small pocket between the eyelid and the eye.
6. Take the bottle with the other hand, flip it over and exert a moderate pressure on the bottle so as to deliver 1 drop of LACRIMASI inside the created pocket.
7. If you think you missed your eye, give another drop.
8. Repeat the procedure for the other eye if necessary.
9. After instillation immediately close the bottle with the appropriate stopper taking care to shake the bottle down so as to remove any excess of product before repositioning the cap on the bottle; do not touch other surfaces, including the eye or fingers, don the delivery end.
10. The product can be used according to the needs or according to the doctor's instructions.

Components
Sodium hyaluronate 0.2%, citric acid monhydrate, sodium bihydrate trisodium, sodium chloride, water for injectable preparations.

Warnings
- The product can only be used by a person.
- The product is only for ophthalmic use.
- Do not use the product if you see particles and/or alterations of the color of the solution.
- Do not touch other surfaces, including the eye, with the dispensing end.
- After administration, due to the viscosity of the solution, a slightly blurred vision may occur that disappears quickly. It is therefore recommended to wait a few seconds before carrying out any activity that requires a clear vision.
- In case of problems during treatment, stop using it and consult a doctor.
- Do not use the product beyond the expiration date on the packaging and bottle.
- Disposal of the product according to local waste management regulations.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Don't ingest.
- It is recommended not to administer other drugs or medical devices for ophthalmic use in 15 minutes after administration of LACRIMASI.
- The product is normally intended for continuous use for no more than 30 days; if symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before use.
- LACRIMASI is not indicated for the treatment of infections and other eye diseases. These conditions require medical assistance.
- Don't try to unscrew or tamper the bottle dispenser.

Conservation
Store at a temperature between 2°C and 30°C.
Post-opening validation: three months.
