Description

Sterile, protective, antioxidant, moisturizers, lubricants, Perilla extract and hyaluronic acid 0.25%.
The formula consists of a slightly hypo-hosmolal solution, slightly viscose, sterile, at physiological pH, devoid of preservatives, including a dry extract of Perilla in combination with hyaluronic acid (in the form of sodium salt), in a 0,5 ml monodose package, with high biocompatibility. Perilla extract, obtained from both seeds and leaves of the plant, contains polyphenols that inhibit the action of free radicals acting as scavenger of them, and carrying out an antioxidant action. Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharidic polymer with high biocompatibility and has a great ability to hydrate; at the eye level, therefore, it is an excellent moistening and lubricant thanks to its visco-elastic behaviour.

Indications
The PerFlo Drops formula, thanks to the specific qualitative-quantitative composition and in particular thanks to the polyphenols contained in the Perilla extract, is able to determine an antioxidant action through a contrast effect of free radicals (such as superoxide radicals) and metal chelation.
Thanks to the anti-oxidant and anti-radical properties of its components, the device protects the eye tissues from the consequences of oxidative stress due to adverse environmental factors (mechanical stress from contact lenses, solar radiation, smoke, dust, air conditioning, computer radiation).
The PerFlo Drops formulation is also refreshing, moisturizing, lubricating and moistening.
Still, by virtue of the slight viscosity selected, the formulation PerFlo Drops expletes a diluting action by increasing the volume of the lacrimal liquid and removing (thanks to the admiccament) foreign bodies such as allergens, powders and mucoid thickeners.
Therefore the formula PerFlo Drops protects the eye tissues by assisting physiological antioxidative mechanisms and integrating the aqueous component of the lacrimal film, thus promoting the maintenance or restoration of epithelial trophism. The formula PerFlo Drops and therefore indicated for:
• relieve and counteract temporary sensations of eye discomfort (redding, dryness) due to adverse environmental conditions such as air conditioning, dry or very hot climate
• alleviate fatigue conditions such as a long driving period, or study period, or still due to the use of the computer and/or excessive exposure to light or prolonged use of contact lenses
• alleviate the occasional dry eye feeling related to ongoing blefaritis, and facilitate removal and removal of any secretions
• prevent allergic conjunctivitis states
For contact lenses: the instillation of the eye drops PerFlo Drops before wearing the contact lenses, facilitates the application because it improves the usability; moreover the instillation after the application makes it more comfortable to use, contrasting the sensation of dryness.
The PerFlo Drops formula is also suitable for frequent and prolonged use.

Mode of use
Open the aluminum protective envelope
Separate a single-dose vial from the bar of 5 containers
Rotate and break the vial cap
Gently press the body of the monodose vial and instill 2/3 drops in each eye; for contact lens holders: if desired, instill 1 or 2 drops directly on the lens and wear it immediately
After instillation immediately close the vial and reuse the residual content within the next 12 hours
Store the unused vials in the aluminium envelope until the end of the content in the envelope
The vial product is monopathic.

Composition
Perilla dry extract (methylate in polyphenols ≥2,5%) 0.1%; hyaluronic acid salt sodium 0.25%; sodium chloride; sodium phosphate bibasic anidro; sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate; purified water q.b. 100 ml.

Warnings
The product is only for ophthalmic use.
Once opened, the single-dose vial can be closed with the appropriate cap but the contained solution must be used within 12 hours.
Do not use the product if the aluminum envelope is damaged or if the vials are not perfectly intact.
Keep away from the reach of children.
Before opening the vial for the administration of the drops it is indicated to carefully cleanse the hands.
During instillation do not touch the eye, nor other surfaces, with the end of the vial.
Do not use the product in case of known incompatibility to even one component of the formulation.
If necessary, make sure that the eye drops are compatible with the contact lenses used. In case of ailments during use suspend treatment and consult a doctor.
Any administration of ophthalmic drugs should be carried out at least 15 minutes away from the instillation of eye drops in particular if they are products containing benzalconio chloride, or other quaternary ammonium salts, to avoid the precipitation of hyaluronic acid.
The administration of drugs for ophthalmic use simultaneously with eye drops should be carried out under control of the doctor who can assess the possible interactions.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
Do not disperse the container in the environment after use.
Store in a dry place, away from heat sources, and direct exposure to sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
