Description
Lubricant gel for ophthalmic use.
Carbomer Gel is a viscose and hypotonic solution containing carbomer 980 to 0.2%.
Carbomer Gel has excellent mucoadsive properties, lubricates the eye by uniformly covering the corneal and conjunctile surfaces.
Indicated as lubricating ophthalmic gel to relieve symptoms of dryness, discomfort, sensation of foreign body and mild irritation caused by eye dryness.

Mode of use
Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
Remove the cap by lifting the warranty seal tab.
Tilt the head back and pull the lower eyelid slightly to form a pocket.
Keep the tube vertically press gently until a drop is formed at the end of the tube.
Instill the drop without touching the eye with the end of the tube.
Admit twice or three times to distribute the gel evenly on the eye and remove any excess from the eyelids.
Close the tube by not touching the tip of the tube with no surface (including fingers).
Instill a drop of product in one or both eyes 3-4 times a day or as needed, depending on the trouble encountered.
The duration of treatment may be extended over 30 days after consultation of the doctor.

Components
Carbomer 980 2.0 mg, cucumber 0.1 mg, sorbitol 40,0 mg, sodium hydroxide 0,84 mg, water for injectable preparations q.b.

Warnings
- Do not use if the pipe or safety seal are damaged.
- During the instillation of the product do not wear contact lenses.
- After instillation wait at least 30 minutes before wearing contact lenses again.
- In case of administration of other products for ophthalmic use wait at least 5 minutes between one application and the other, instilling Carbomer Gel last.
- Do not touch the eye or any other surface with the tip of the tube to avoid scratching the eye surface or contaminating the product.
- After use close the cap gently without excessively screwing.
- Do not use the product in case of allergy to any of the components.
- Just for outside use. - Occasionally a slight transient sensation of burning, sticky eyelid and blurred vision can occur after the instillation of the gel.
- Keep out of reach and sight of children.
- If the problem does not improve within 2 days or worsens at any time, consult your doctor.
- If the problem persists for over 30 days, consult your doctor.

Conservation
Store at a temperature below 30 °C.
Post-opening validation: 1 month.
