IRIDIUM

Medical device CE 0373 sterile. Iridium garze is indicated for the removal, from eyelids and eyelashes, of crusts, cyspes or secretions due to inflammatory and/or infectious phenomena. Its use is also recommended in associations with specific therapies in case of allergic, inflammatory or infectious eye diseases. It is used for periocular treatment before and after ophthalmic surgery and undergoing treatment for lacrimal canal occlusions.

Components
100% cotton gauze with a solution containing: propylene glycol; tridecyl ether-8; glycirizzinate ammonium; glycolic extract Ananas sativus L.; extract of Echinacea angustifolia (rade); sodium bicarbonate E500; chlorhexidine digluconate, sodium hydroxyethylglycinate; EDTA bisodic; purified water.

Property
The 100% cotton fabric covered with the natural principles present in Iridium garze, make it possible to remove secretions, powders, any foreign bodies; the product has a targeted physical chemical compatibility with the lacrimal film for its balanced pH, it does not leave residues and, thanks to its components, it can also be used daily to maintain the well-being of the periocular area.

Mode of use
After cleaning your hands properly, open the sachet and extract the gauze. Apply the gauze in the eyelid area, passing it gently, so as to allow an adequate removal of eye secretions and any other deposits (smog, powder, etc.). In case there are particularly persistent secretions or occlusion of the lacrimal canal, it is advisable to warm the envelope closed for a few minutes in warm water (40 °C) and then use the gauze as a warm compress gently massaging. You can also squeeze the gauze content on the closed eye, slightly reclining the head, then massaging with the gauze until a complete removal of the residues present. In the case of flogosis it is advisable to cool the sachet closed in the refrigerator for a few hours and then apply the open gauze on the eye, keeping on site for a few minutes as cold wrap.

Contraindications
