Description
Hyperosmolar ophthalmic solution without preservatives.
It is recommended to reduce post-operative and post-traumatic corneal edemas, as well as those due to corneal distrophy. It is horny edema when the cornea presents an abnormal accumulation of fluids.
The ODM 5 hypersaline solution uses the osmotic effect to attract excess fluids out of the cornea, so that the latter can temporarily find an optimal hydration status. ODM 5 thus contributes to the improvement of visual quality.
Contains sodium hyaluronate, a component naturally present in the eye, which helps protect the cornea thanks to its lubricating properties.

Mode of use
Wash your hands thoroughly before instilling.
At the time of first use, check that the safety ring is intact and then remove it. Remove the protective cap pulling upwards. Place the bottle above the eye, with the tip facing down. Keep the bottle in the middle with your thumb and index. Press gently, applying a progressive force on the bottle with the thumb and index, until a drop of ophthalmic solution emerges.
Instill 1-2 drops 4 times a day, according to prescription. Instill the drops in the lower joint bag of the eye, looking upwards and pulling slightly down the lower eyelid. After instillation, keep your eye closed for 1-2 minutes.
Reposition the protective cap after each use, making sure that they do not remain residual drops on the tip, eventually dropping them with a decided movement of the wrist.
Avoid contact of the flacone tip with the eye and eyelids.
It is not necessary to rinse after use.

Components
Sodium chloride 5%, sodium hyaluronate 0.15%.
Other components: purified water, dihydrate sodium citrate, monohydrate citric acid, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose.

Warnings
Don't swallow.
Do not use the bottle if it is damaged.
Do not use after the expiry date shown on the bottle. Carefully close the bottle after each use, ensuring that no residual drops remain on the tip.
Avoid contact of the flacone tip with hands, eyes and eyelids. Avoid touching or drying the tip with your fingers or with a non sterile fabric.
If the doctor has prescribed another colliery, follow a range of at least 15 minutes between instillation and the other.
Keep away from the sight and reach of children.
Contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to one of the components and contact lenses (ODM 5 is not compatible with contact lenses).
In some cases, during instillation, passenger disorders such as a slight burning or itching sensation may appear, as well as a momentarily blurred vision. If the side effects persist or in case of unwanted effects not described in the package leaflet, stop using the product and consult a doctor.

Conservation
Store at room temperature (between +2 °C and +25 °C).
Post-opening validation: three months.
