EMOFIX
Description
Emostatic ointment with barrier action indicated for containment and prevention of hemorrhagic episodes of the skin and mucous membranes such as: epistaxis of essential origin also mild, or traumatic, small skin wounds, etc.
Mode of use
Counting the hemorrhagic episode: apply a sufficient amount of ointment to cover the affected area.
Prevention of epistaxis: apply the product twice a day for at least two weeks after the acute episode, or according to medical advice.
If the product is to be applied on the nasal mucosa, it is recommended to use the applicator cannula, included in the package.
Clean the cannula thoroughly after each application and avoid promiscuous use.
Components
Mix of saturated fatty acids, protein extract from yeast, phosphatidylcholine, vitamin E acetate, beeswax, soybean oil, stearilic alcohol, calcium chlorides, potassium and magnesium, monostearate gliceril, methyl and propyle paraoxide, BHT.
Warnings
In case of adverse reactions suspend the use of the product and consult the doctor. Only in the first days of treatment can be burning, nasal itching and rhyrrhea, which normally tend to disappear during the treatment. If this does not occur, please stop using the product and consult your doctor. Do not use the product if the packaging is not integrated or tampered (e.g. labeled). The tampering and/or non-integrity of the package could compromise the product safety requirements. Do not use this product after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
Keep Emofix out of sight and reach of children.
Conservation
The indicated expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, properly preserved.
Close the tube well after use.
It is preferable to store the product at room temperature and however not exceeding 30 °C. In case of exposure to temperatures other than those indicated, the product may be subject to variations in compactness, without any quality. Just keep Emofix at room temperature so that you can regain the original consistency.
