Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream is indicated for relief from itching and redness caused by irritations of the unjuvenated skin of children and adults.
Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream is a formula without cortisone that combines a rapid soothing action from itching to a regeneration of the skin barrier, helping the skin to heal and decreasing the feeling of having to scratch. It relieves itching, thus offering at least 7 hours of continuous sleep to children and their families.
Redness, swelling and itching can be caused by various conditions such as dry skin, atopic/eczema dermatitis, allergic skin reactions and many other skin irritations.
The intense itching that can occur causes the feeling of having to scratch, but also additional damage to the skin.
Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream is used to relieve itching and redness caused by the following skin irritation cases:
- dry skin,
- atopic dermatitis,
- eczema,
- allergic reactions.
Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream strengthens the skin barrier thanks to its lamellar lipid technology. Through this mechanism, the lipid layers of the skin itself, which act as a natural protection against irritations, are strengthened and this provides a relief from itching and redness and supports skin recovery.
Red skin, inflated and with itching can be caused by dryness, atopic/eczema dermatitis, allergic skin reactions and many other irritations.
Under these conditions, the lipids of the superficial corneo layer (also called skin barrier) are damaged and this can induce itching.
These lipids, which are mainly ceramides, act as a natural protection against irritations. When this protective barrier is damaged, water comes out of the skin and this leads to dryness and itching of the skin. In addition, the weakened skin barrier is less effective in protecting against irritating substances in the body and this causes even more itching.
Therefore, under dry skin conditions, atopic/eczema dermatitis, allergic skin reactions and many other skin irritations, the restoration of the protective skin barrier with the use of special creams such as Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream to reduce itching is a fundamental part of the treatment.
The skin barrier is the outermost part of the skin. It is a highly organized structure made of a succession of layers of lipids: lamellar lipids that are placed in overlapping layers. The main lipids in these layers are ceramides. Among these layers, natural emollient creams bind water inside the skin barrier and ensure that it is kept properly hydrated.
Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream contains a special lamellar lipid technology to soothe irritations and quickly relieve itching.
This technology contains lipids with lamellar structure, similar to the structure of skin lipids, such as ceramides. Lamellar lipids oriented, manage to integrate and bind to the damaged lipid barrier of the corneo layer and restore it.
A fully intact protective barrier is very important because when it is damaged, this causes itching. A lasting hydration helps the skin to recover and thus reduces itching and irritation. Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream also contains physiological moistening agents such as glycerin, able to bind water to the skin.
This effect is supported by the panthenol that moisturizes the skin barrier and therefore provides the optimal conditions for the natural regeneration process of the skin.
Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream does not contain emulsifiers, compounds known to damage the delicate lipid structure of the skin.
Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream is also free of perfumes and preservatives, which are known to be irritating. So Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream quickly relieves itching "imiting" the skin in three ways:
1. By providing lipids (e.g. ceramides) to lamella as in the skin barrier thanks to a special lamellar lipid technology.
2. Providing physiological moisturizers for increased hydration.
3. Providing natural lipids.
This allows a restoration of the skin barrier resulting in relief from itching.

Mode of use
Apply what is necessary on the affected skin area, not wounded.
Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream is used for relief from itching and redness caused by skin irritations, on the skin not wounded of infants, children and adults.
Such skin irritations occur in particular conditions, such as dry skin, atopic dermatitis, eczema, allergic reactions.
Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream should be used if necessary. Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream is free of cortisone.
Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream can be used during pregnancy and nursing.
If used during breastfeeding: it is important to remove any cream residue before breastfeeding.
Bepanthenol Sensiderm Cream is safe for use on infants and children, while for long-term use or use on large surfaces, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
