Description
Disposable adhesive film for ear protection, composed of a polyurethane adhesive film "protect film".
It is indicated to protect the ear pad of patients with infectious and/or inflammatory pathologies at the expense of the outer ear and the middle ear with or without perforation of the timpanic membrane, in case of post-operative course or in subjects carrying acoustic prostheses or with trans-timpanic drainage.
OTOSCUDO reproduces the shape of the earpiece with a configuration that makes it bilateral, i.e. applicable indifferently in correspondence of the right or left ear.
It is made of three layers: the adhesive film "protect film", a cover layer applied on the non-adhesive face of the protect film, a release layer to be removed in contact with the adhesive face to allow a smooth release of OTOSCUDO at the time of application.
Thanks to the characteristics of the polyurethane adhesive film "protect film" OTOSCUDO is:
transparent: the adhesive film that is applied on the ear is transparent and aesthetically almost invisible;
waterproof: the adhesive film protects the ear from exposure to air and water, such as in the case of sea baths, showers, swimming and, more generally, during recreational-sporting outdoor activities;
breathable: the film is gas-permeable. This allows, with the passage of the air, to avoid condensation phenomena and to maintain practically unchanged the ability to hear voices, sounds with particular benefit to the wearers of acoustic prostheses.

Mode of use
1. Remove the central part (the largest one) of the white adhesive cover.
2. Keep the protector from the two ends that have the remnant cover-adhesive with fingers of both hands.
Apply the protector on the ear keeping it tense, making the upper part coincide with the cover-adhesive on the upper part of the earpiece and the lower part with the cover-adhesive on the lobe.
Once the central part of the film adheres well, remove the two parts of cover-adhesive still present on the film, ensuring that the entire surface adheres to the ear.
3. Remove the two green squared transparent parts of film support, paying attention not to pull it off the ear. It is recommended to keep the film steady, crushing half of it while removing the other half of support and vice versa.
4. Once removed all the support, make sure each part of the film adheres well to the ear by pressing it on the ear.
