Corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, polyvidone, magnesium stearate, colloidal silica anidra, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyethylene glycol 4000, titanium dioxide.

Contraindications

Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity ascertained to active ingredients or any of the Drontal excipients should not be used during pregnancy. Do not use in kittens under 4 weeks of age' Do not simultaneously use piperazine compounds.

Population

Posology: the dose is 5 mg of praziquantel and 57,5 mg of pyrantelembonate per kg of body weight. This corresponds to 1 tablet each 4 kg body weight. The tablet can be split according to need. To be administered in cats by mouth. The administration of the tablets takes place directly or by wrapping them in a piece of meat or sausage or with the feed by grinding them. Dietary measures are not necessary. The use takes place in one solution.

Warnings

In order to obtain effective control of parasites the treatment should be carried out according to the results of parasitic examination. Special precautions for use in animals: to ensure a correct dosage, animals should be weighed. Since the infestation of baskets in the cat does not appear before the 3rd week of life the treatment with Drontal is indicated only after the 3rd week of life. The resistance of parasites to a particular class of anti-elmintics could develop as a result of frequent use, repeated of an anti-elmintic of the same class. Echinococcosis is a danger to man. In case of echinococcosis, specific guidelines for the treatment and follow-up must be followed and for the protection of persons. Consult an expert or parasitic institute. Do not use in severely debilitated animals or with severe impairment of liver or kidney function. Special precautions that must be adopted by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals: persons with a known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients contained in this medicine must administer the product with caution. Wash your hands after use. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of eye irritation, contact a doctor. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using the product. In case of accidental ingestion, contact a doctor immediately by showing him the leaflet or label. Symptoms of overdose do not show with doses up to 5 times the recommended dose.
