active ingredients

Each 0.5 ml pipette contains: fipronil 50 mg, piriproxifene 60 mg.

Excellent

Butilidrossianisolo E320, butilidroxytoluene E321, diethylene glycol monoetil ether.

Contraindications

Do not use in rabbits, as adverse reactions and death may occur. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity known to the active ingredient or to some of the excipients.

Population

Use spot-on. For a 6 kg cat apply 1 0.5 per animal pipette corresponding to the recommended minimum dose of 8.3 mg fipronil/kg body weight and 10 mg piriproxifene/kg p.v. For a cat weighing more than 6 kg, the recommended dose of 1 ml must be applied, which can be administered with two 0.5 ml pipettes. Keep the pipette vertically. Shake the narrowest part of the pipette to make sure the content is within the widest part of the pipette. Break the seal at the top of the spot-on pipette along the marked line. Separate the hair in the back area until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette directly against the discovered skin and gently crush sometimes to empty the content in one or two points. Make sure the solution is applied only on healthy skin and avoid superficial applications on the cat's fur or removal. System saves drop (the product is released only by pressing the pipette body). For optimal control of flea and tick infestations, the treatment program can be based on the local epidemiological situation. However, in the absence of further safety studies, do not repeat treatment at intervals less than 4 weeks.

Conservation

Store at a temperature not exceeding +30 degrees C. Store in a dry place. Store the blister in the original packaging to protect it from light.

Warnings

Animal hair bath with water 2 hours before treatment and twice during the period of effectiveness of the product, indicated against fleas, (with interval of 2 weeks against adult fleas or four weeks against larvali stages) has been evaluated in two laboratory tests. Confirming that wetting the hair of animals as described does not affect the effectiveness of the product. The influence of a shampoo on the effectiveness of the product has not been evaluated. If a cat needs a shampoo it is recommended to make it before the application of the veterinary medicinal product. At the beginning of the control measures, in the case of infestation, the animal's bunks, berth linen and rest areas such as carpets and furnishing fabrics must be treated, with a suitable and regularly clean insecticide with vacuum cleaner. To reduce the presence of fleas in the environment, all animals living in the same home area should be treated with a suitable flea control product. The product does not prevent the attack of ticks on animals. If the animal was treated before exposure to the ticks, they will be killed in the first 48 hours after the attack. This will happen before the meal is completed, reducing but not excluding the risk of disease transmission. Once dead, ticks will fall from animals. Any remaining ticks must be removed carefully ensuring that their portion of the mouthpiece does not remain in the skin. Only for external use. Do not administer by mouth Animals must be carefully weighed before treatment. The safety of the product has not been evaluated in cats of less than 10 weeks of age and/or weight less than 1 kg. Avoid contact with animals' eyes. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, wash with water. You should pay attention to apply the product properly as described. Do not apply the product on wounds or damaged skin. It is important to ensure that the product is applied to a dry area where the animal cannot lick and be careful so that the animals do not leach each other after treatment. The use of the product has not been studied on sick or debilitated animals. Use in sick or debilitated animals only according to the risk/benefit assessment. In the absence of further safety studies, do not repeat treatment at intervals less than 4 weeks. Special precautions for those who administer the product to animals: the product can cause neurotoxicity. The product can be harmful if swallowed. Avoid ingestion including hand-to-mouth contact. Avoid contact with skin and mouth. Do not smoke, drink or eat during the application. Wash your hands after use. In case of accidental ingestion, please contact a doctor immediately by showing him the package leaflet or the product label. In case of accidental contact with the skin, rinse with water. The treated animals should not be touched until the application site is dry, and children should not be allowed to play with treated animals until the application site is dry. It is therefore recommended that animals not be treated during the day, but must be treated during the first evening, and that the newly treated animals should not be allowed to sleep with the owners, especially children. Keep the pipettes in the original packaging until the time of use and discard the pipettes used immediately. Other precautions the product may have adverse effects on painted, painted or other surfaces of the house or furniture. Wait for the application site to be dry before allowing contact with such materials. Overdosage: no adverse reactions have been observed in safety studies in cat species and kittens of 10 weeks, treated with 5 times the recommended dose for 3 consecutive times with interval of 4 weeks and treated with the recommended maximum dose for 6 times at interval of 4 weeks. The risk of adverse reactions can increase in case of overdose, so animals must always be treated with the correct dose according to the weight of the same.
