Warnings

Fleas present in animals often infest the skin, blankets and habitual areas in which the animal rests as carpets and fabrics of furniture that, in case of massive infestations and at the beginning of control measures, must be treated with a special insecticide and regularly cleaned with an aspirator. Information on the effect of baths/shampoos on the effectiveness of the product in cats and ferrets is not available. However, based on the information available for dogs bathed in 2 days after the application of the product, it is not recommended to bathe animals within two days after the application of the product. Avoid contact with the eyes of the animal. It is important to make sure that the product is applied in an area where animals cannot lick it and be sure that animals do not leach each other as a result of the treatment. You can check the attachment of single ticks. For this reason, a transmission of infectious diseases cannot be completely excluded if conditions are favourable. Special precautions for those who administer the veterinary medicinal product to animals: this product can cause irritation to mucous membranes, skin and eyes. Therefore contact between the product and mouth, skin and eyes should be avoided. People with hypersensitivity to insecticides or alcohol must avoid contact with the product. Avoid contacting your fingers. In case it happens, wash your hands immediately with soap and water. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, wash the eyes immediately and abundantly with clean water. Wash your hands after use. In case of accidental ingestion immediately ask the doctor and show the doctor the leaflet or label. Do not smoke, drink or eat during the application. The treated animals must not be touched until the application site has dried up and children must not be allowed to play with animals treated until the application site has dried up. It is therefore recommended not to treat animals during the day, but in the evening and not to allow animals treated recently to sleep with the owners, especially with children. Overdose: the risk of adverse reactions can increase in case of overdose. In cats In safety studies in target species no adverse reactions were observed in cats and kittens of 8 weeks of age or older and weighing about 1 kg, treated once a month with 5 times the recommended dose for 6 consecutive months. After treatment itching may occur. The overdose application of the product can determine the sticky appearance of the hair at the point of application. However, if that happens, it will disappear within 24 hours of the application. In the ferrets of 6 months of age or older and treated once every 2 weeks for four treatments, 5 times the recommended dose, weight loss was observed in some animals.
