active ingredients

Falvin 2% cream 100 g of cream contain 2 g of nitrate fenticonazole. Excipients with known effects: 100 g cream contain 5 g propylene glycol, 3 g cetilic alcohol, 1 g hydrogenated lanolin. Falvin 2% skin spray, solution 100 ml of solution contain 2 g of nitrate fenticonazole. Excipient with known effects: 100 ml of solution contain 35 g propylene glycol. Therapeutic indications

Falvin 2% cream, Falvin 2% skin spray, solution: - Dermatomycosis from dermatophytes (Trichophyton, Microsporum, Epidermophyton) to different location: tinea capitis, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis (foot of athlete), tinea manuum, tinea faciei, tinea barbae, tinea unguium. - Candidiasis of the skin (intertrigo, perleche, facial candidiasis, candidiasis “by diaper”, perineal and scrotal); balaniti, balanopostiti; hole and parson. - Pityriasis versicolor (from) Pityrosporum orbicular and P. oval). - Otomycosis (from Candida or mold), only if there are no injuries of the timpane. - Eritrasma. - Mycosis with bacterial superinfections (from Gram-positive bacteria).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any of the excipients listed in paragraph 6.1. Pregnancy (see paragraph 4.6).

Population

Falvin must be applied 1-2 times a day, according to the advice of the doctor, after washing and drying the injured part, using the formulation suitable for the location of the injury. Falvin 2% cream - is indicated for the treatment of glabra skin, skin folds and mucosa; apply slightly frying. The preferential use of the cream is for dry mycosis: pityriasis versicolor, erythrax, onicomycosis (in the onicomycosis the cream should be applied with occlusive bandage); cream is suitable for use in male genital mycosis. Falvin 2% skin spray, solution - is indicated for localizations to the scalp and for the skin areas covered by hair. The skin spray solution, moreover, is easy and convenient use for extended mycosis and for areas hardly reachable. Falvin does not grease, does not stain and is easily removable with water.

Conservation

Store at a temperature below 25°C.

Warnings

At the time of the application on the lesion there is a modest burning sensation that disappears quickly. The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical use, can give rise to phenomena of sensitization. In this case stop treatment and consult your doctor to establish suitable therapy. Important information about some excipients: Falvin 2% cream and Falvin 2% skin spray, solution contain propylene glycol. They can cause skin irritation. Falvin 2% cream contains cetilic alcohol. It can cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis). Falvin 2% cream contains hydrogenated lanolin. can cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).

No known.

Effects

When used as recommended, Falvin is only poorly absorbed and there are no systemic side effects. Prolonged use of topical products can cause sensitization phenomena (see paragraph 4.4). Overdosing

No overdose cases have been reported.

Although the percutaneous absorption of phenticonazole is rather poor, it is recommended not to use the medicinal product in pregnancy.
