DEXCOM ONE SENSOR FOR CONTINUOUS MONITORING OF BLOOD SUGAR 3 PIECES

Dexcom One is a system that allows continuous monitoring of blood glucose suitable for all patients with type 1 diabetes in insulin therapy from 2 years on.

The Dexcom ONE sensor is an enzyme-based electrochemical sensor that measures glucose levels in the continuous operation up to 10 days. The sensor is complete with its disposable applicator that allows easy insertion with only one push of the button.

The needle for the insertion of the sensor is contained within the applicator and a safety device prevents it from leaking accidentally.

The thin sensor is very discreet and not from any type of discomfort, can be inserted in a very simple way thanks to an automatic applicator on the back of the arm, on the abdomen or on the upper gluteum (up to 17 years).

It consists of three separate and distinct elements:

1. a small sensor wearable that detects glycemic values
2. a transmitter that sends the glycemic values detected by the sensor in real time, every 5 minutes, wirelessly
3. a smart receiver via the Dexcom One app or a compatible Android and Apple mobile phone to download the app

Dexcom ONE provides you up to 10 days of continuous glucose readings without scans, updated every 5 minutes.

Thanks to its accuracy, Dexcom ONE allows you to make therapeutic decisions, such as insulin dosage, based on the current value of glucose and trend arrow.

When the sensor is inserted, the transmitter must be hooked to the support base.

Both sensor that the transmitter can be wet without any difficulty, therefore, the system should not be removed to shower or to swim.

The receiver allows you to read the results but it is not mandatory as the smart display device can also be a compatible Android and Apple smartphone on which to download the specific app.

Through the receiver or smartphone you can view glycemic readings or the glycemic pattern chart in a single screen.

MODE OF USE

Apply the Dexcom One sensor to the rear of the arm, abdomen or upper buttocks (up to 17 years) using the supplied automatic applicator.
