Pen needles made to ensure effective and reliable insulin subcutaneous administration. Needles are compatible with all insulin pens on the market; they are also compatible with Eli Lilly's Forsteo (osteoporosis) and Humatrope Pen 3 (growth hormone). To ensure maximum patient comfort, each needle is produced with the most advanced technologies:
triple sharpening reduces the pressure needed to insert the needle tip into the skin;
the exclusive lubrication reduces the resistance to needle penetration;
the special sanding treatment ensures an ideal sharpening and removes any metallic residue, allowing the needle to penetrate more easily;
thin Wall technolgy: the needle has a wider inner diameter, which results in a better flow capacity of insulin and a reduction of penetration force.

Micro-fine BD Pen Needles are compatible with all pens for treating diabetes currently on the market. The use of an appropriate length needle and a correct injection technique ensure an effective subcutaneous injection of insulin, comfortable and safe, minimizing the risk of intramuscular injections.
