The reactive strips are used with OneTouch Verio IQ and OneTouch Verio Pro tools for quantitative measurement of glucose levels in the whole fresh capillary blood.

Description
Strips automatically aspire a small amount of blood.
It is easy to apply blood to one of the two sides of the OneTouch Verio reactive strip.
OneTouch Verio Pro and OneTouch Verio IQ systems provide plasma-based results that allow easy comparison with laboratory analysis.

Warnings
Open the bottle only to take the reactive strips to use for the test. After removing a reactive strip from the bottle, immediately close the bottle cover firmly. Use the reactive strip immediately after extracting it from the bottle. Do not use reactive strips from a damaged or left open bottle. Write the date of disposal (opening date plus 6 months) in the space on the label of the bottle when opening it for the first time. Do not use the reactive strips after the expiry date (printed on the bottle label) or after the disposal date, any items before. Avoid dirt, food or liquids falling on the reactive strip. You can touch the reactive strip at any point with dry and clean hands. Do not bend, cut or alter in any way the reactive strips. The reactive strips are exclusively disposable. Never reuse a reactive strip on which blood or control solution has been applied. Before running the test make sure that the reactive tool and strips have approximately the same temperature. On the reactive strip apply only the OneTouch Verio control solution or a blood sample. After running a test, do not put the reactive strip used in the bottle. Measurements should be carried out in the context of medical control.

Conservation
Store the bottle in a cool and dry place at temperatures below 30°C. Don't refrigerate. Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Store reactive strips exclusively in their original bottle. To avoid damage or contamination, do not transfer reactive strips to other containers.
