Therapeutic indications

SOBREFRI is used for treating respiratory diseases characterized by dense and viscous hypersecretion.

Contraindications

The drug is contraindicated in children under 2 years of age. Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any of the excipients.

Population

Syrup: use as a reference the heels present on the meter. Children over 2 years: 10 ml 2 times a day Adults: 10-20 ml 2 times a day

Conservation

Syrup: no special precaution for conservation

Warnings

Mucolitics may induce bronchial obstruction in children under 2 years of age. In fact the drainage capacity of the bronchial mucus is limited in this age range, due to the physiological characteristics of the respiratory tract. They must not be used in children under 2 years of age (see paragraph 4.3). Warnings related to some excipients SOBREFRI For the presence of maltitol, patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance should not take this medicine. This medicine contains 0.29 mmol of sodium in 5 ml, i.e. more than 1 mmol of sodium for 20 ml. To consider in people who follow a low-sodium diet. Multidose syrup also contains p-hydroxybenzoate methyl and p-hydroxybenzoate propylene that can cause allergic reactions (also delayed).

Interactions

Sobrerole interactions are not known with other drugs.

Effects

Gastric disorders and nausea may occur. It may occur bronchial obstruction with unknown frequency.

Overdosing

No overdose cases have been reported.

In pregnancy and lactating, sobrerole safety is not sufficiently demonstrated; therefore SOBREFRI should only be administered when, according to the doctor, the potential benefits exceed the possible risks.
