One tablet contains Active ingredient: dimenhydrate 50 mg Excipient: lactose monohydrate 75 mg For full list of excipients, see paragraph 6.1.

Excellent

Therapeutic indications

Antivomite, antinausea, antivirgine in the cinetosis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any of the excipients or other antihistamines. Pregnancy and breastfeeding New preterms and completion.

Population

Adults and teenagers (from 13 years to 18 years of age) 1 tablet half an hour before the trip; if necessary repeat the dose after 3–4 hours, up to a maximum of 4 tablets in 24 hours. Children (from 6 years to 12 years of age) Half an hour before the trip; if necessary repeat the dose of half tablet after 6–8 hours, up to a maximum of 2 tablets (4 half tablets) in 24 hours. The tablets have a fracture line that makes their subdivision easy in two halves.

Conservation

There are no special conditions for conservation.

Warnings

Use with caution in subjects suffering from glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, other urinary retention syndromes, intestinal obstruction, bronchial asthma, epilepsy. Lomarin contains lactose: use with caution in patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, lactase lapp deficiency, or glucose/galactose mal absorption.

Interactions

Dimenhydrate enhances the effects of: – depressive agents of the Central Nervous System, such as alcohol, barbiturates, other hypnotics, sedatives or tranquilizers. In the event of concomitant intake of such substances, attention must be paid to the purpose of avoiding additional phenomena of sedation; – anticholinergic drugs, including antidepressants. If administered in conjunction with aminoglycosidic antibiotics or other ototoxic drugs, dimenhydrate may mask the first symptoms of ototoxicity, which can only be detected when the damage is irreversible.

Overdosing

Synonyms Sedation that may vary from a slight intonement to a deep sleep. Psychic symptoms are reported.
