Therapeutic indications

Cream, skin powder, skin emulsion. Mycotic infections of the skin and its outbuildings, although complicated by gram-positive germ overinfections. Skin solution Pityriasis versicolor.

Contraindications

Individual hypersensitivity already ascertained towards the components.

Population

Cream, rash, skin powder. Spread on the lesion twice a day, Ifenec cream (on the capillary and on the hair areas use Ifenec emulsion). In the treatment of occlusive medication. Use the skin powder in wet infections, interdigital mycosis and daily disinfection of socks and shoes. Skin solution The product must be used, for at least three consecutive nights, as a bath solution by sprinkling all the body, previously wet, with a sponge on which the content of a bag of Ifenec. Fry for a few minutes (3–5) and let the solution dry without rinsing: a shower with only water is allowed the following morning; in this way the medicine has the possibility to carry out its action on the entire body surface throughout the night. If at a distance of 15 days from the end of the therapy the Pityriasis versicolor was not yet eradicated, a second cycle of treatment should be repeated. In any case, in order to avoid relapses or reinfections, it is recommended to repeat the treatment at a distance of 1–3 months.

All pharmaceutical forms of Ifenec are indicated only for external use. Keep out of reach of children.

Effects

Ifenec is usually well tolerated by sensitive skin. Only in rare cases are possible local irritations in eczematous zones: in such situations, for a few days, the therapy with Ifenec from an antieczematous treatment.

Overdosing

There are no known cases of overdose in man until now.

In pregnant women and early childhood the product should be administered in cases of actual need, under the direct control of the doctor. Preparations for topical use, especially when used for prolonged treatment, can give rise to awareness phenomena. Where this happens, it is necessary to stop the treatment and establish suitable therapy.
