Description
Transparent silicone gel that, treating scars due to surgery, burns and other injuries, quickly dries and contributes to skin hydration. Dermatix flattens, softens and makes scars smoother, relieves pain, itching and discomfort related to them, as well as making redness associated with scar tissue less accentuated. Dermatix gel is easily applicable on all skin surfaces, including face, joints and body parts stressed by movement and dries quickly, forming a transparent "film". Dermatix has been developed using the same long-chain polymers used in silicone gel films and is available in tube. The gel contains polysiloxane.
Dermatix is used for treating and preventing hypertrophic cheloids and scars (e.g. those resulting from general surgical procedures, traumatic wounds and burns) after complete wound healing and in the presence of an intact skin surface. It is also used for embossed red scars during active healing, often up to two years after wound closure.

Mode of use
Remove the tube cap and cut the tip. Wash the affected area and dry by swabing, since Dermatix must be applied only on dry and clean skin. Spread gently massaging a small amount of scar gel. If an excessive amount of product is applied, it is necessary to remove it gently with a cloth so as to prevent the garments from being worn out. After Dermatix gel will be dried, makeup and cosmetics can be applied.
Apply twice a day, morning and evening for at least two months. In case of difficult scars, it may be necessary to continue treatment. Dermatix can also be used in children.

Warnings
Dermatix should not be applied on open wounds in healing. Dermatix should not be applied in contact with mucous membranes or in areas close to the eyes. Dermatix should not be applied on skin treated with other medicinal products and other topical products without the advice of the doctor.
Rarely the gel can cause redness, pain or skin irritation. In case of reactions, suspend the use of the product. For any doubt about these or other side effects consult your physician or pharmacist. Keep out of reach of children.

Conservation
Store at temperatures below 25°C away from heat sources. Do not use Dermatix after the expiration date shown on the package.
Validity of whole packaging: 60 months.
