Description
Keratolitic lotion containing 10% of salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is a fat-soluble substance that mixes with the lipids of the corneo layer and sebaceous glands of the hair follicles and is able to remove them. Salicylic acid is also able to alter desmosomes (intercellular mutations of corneocytes), reducing cell cohesion and determining an exfoliating effect. It therefore has keratolytic and comedolytic properties. Moreover, thanks to its ability to inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins, it is equipped with anti-inflammatory properties.
