Chitosan (0.5%) forms a protective film that isolates the part from the outside and helps to create a humid environment, while metallic silver (0.1) releases silver ions that bind to DNA and RNA of bacteria by inhibiting multiplication.
It is an alternative to antibiotic and cortisone topical treatments: guarantees a clear improvement of the clinical picture already after 30 minutes from the application and a complete resolution of the inflammation with a good increase of re-epitelization of the treated areas.
