Population

The different preparations allow the doctor to adopt the one most suitable for the individual case. Unless different medical prescription, posology is usually the following: Micoxolamine cream and skin emulsion The cream is particularly suitable for glabrous surfaces and limited extensions. Apply 2 or 3 times a day depending on the severity of the pathology, injuries and immediately surrounding areas, with a slight massage. Repeat the treatment until the injury disappears (usually 1–2 weeks). To prevent relapses it is advisable to continue therapy for 1–2 weeks. An occlusive treatment is recommended in the treatment of onicomycosis. Skin solution The skin solution is particularly suitable for the treatment and prevention of pityriasis versicolor, such as sensitive infections of the scalp, such as those from Malassetia sp., seborroic dermatitis and pityriasis capitis (forphore). Apply the solution to areas affected by the infection by a slight massage; let the product act for about 3–5 minutes before rinsing. In the pityriasis versicolor it is recommended to perform treatment from 1 to 3 times a day until the disappearance of lesions, usually for 1–2 weeks. In the pityriasis capitis (forphora) and in the seborrhoic dermatitis of the scalp perform 2–3 treatments per week for 2–4 weeks. According to the doctor, treatment with the skin solution can be continued for an additional 1–2 weeks in order to reduce the risk of relapse.
